2 1/2 Year-Old Classes : Busy Bees

Paula "Bubbles" Heinecke : Busy Bees Co-Teacher

Hello, my name is Paula Heinecke, better known as Ms. Bubbbles. I am happy to be a part of the Bears & Busy Bees classes this year. This is my third year on staff at LOLCP and I feel so blessed to be here.

My husband, Bob, & I have been married for 44 years and have 4 children and 11 grandchildren ranging in age from 15 down to 1 month. We have lived in West Chester 33 years. We currently have 4 grandchildren living with us so our house is very busy. All the grandchildren call me Bubbles. I used to our oldest grandchild outside and blow bubbles with her all of the time. She named me Bubbles and it has stuck with me ever since.

Our second youngest grandchild attended LOLCP for 2 years. I subbed during that time and then Paula Drake asked me to become part of the staff. I feel very fortunate to be part of a wonderful preschool. I am looking forward to being with your children this year and watching them grow and learn. Thank you for letting me be a part of their learning experience!

Autumnlee Brown : Busy Bees Co-Teacher

Hello! My name is Autumnlee Brown and this is my second year with LOLCP! Last year I was the teacher assistant for the Penguins class. I am excited to be co-teaching this year with Ms. Bubbles in the Busy Bees class!

I graduated from Wittenberg University in 2014 with a B.A in Psychology and Health Science. During my time as an undergraduate at Wittenberg I worked as a Clinical Pediatric Intern, volunteered at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and did an independent study on childhood development. After graduation, I decided to utilize my degree and applied and was accepted to Notre Dame Americorps. Americorps is the Domestic version of the Peace Corps. For two years, I served as a first-grade teacher assistant at an inner-city school in Cincinnati. During my time as a first-grade teacher assistant I learned a lot and my calling to work with children was reaffirmed. Alongside working at LOLCP this year, I am also starting graduate school for my Masters in Social Work. After I graduate, I hope to be certified in Child Life and work with children and families in a hospital setting.

I am looking forward to this year watching your children learn and grow and getting to know all the Busy Bees families!

Marianne Fox : Bears Co-Teacher

Hi! My name is Marianne Fox. My husband and I recently moved to West Chester from Lexington, KY to be closer to family. My brothers and mother live in the Cincinnati area and our son, daughter-in- law and two grandchildren will live in West Chester soon! We are loving our new home. For 27 years, I taught Special Education in Kentucky. Upon retirement, I quickly discovered that my passion was to still work with children. I then worked in a preschool in Lexington and enjoyed going to work every day! I was very fortunate to be able to continue that passion at Lord of Life in 2016. I look forward to teaching the Bears with Ms. Bubbles this year.

Traci Fisher : Penguins & Monkeys Lead Teacher

I am so excited to be returning to the LOLCP family this year!  I have been busy planning a fantastic year of learning and fun as Lead Teacher in the Penguins and Monkeys classes!  My husband, Todd, and I have lived in West Chester for 18 years.  I am a proud Mother to Tyler, age 10 and Kelly, age 7.  I have a B.S.  in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State, and my entire family rallies as Buckeye fans!  My true love has been raising my children!  I have embraced every opportunity to serve as Room Mom in their classes, Den Leader in their Cub Scouts, and Parent Volunteer helping with classroom academics.  I have worked with preschoolers for the past 5 years, and I absolutely love teaching, helping children explore, and watching their confidence grow the more they succeed!  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's growth!

I'm so excited to start my first year at Lord of Life Preschool as the assistant teacher for the Monkeys class. Kate Szczcap : Lions & Tigers Lead Teacher

I am so excited to begin my 3rd year here at LOLCP!   I have spent the last 2 years as an Assistant Teacher, and feel honored to step up to Lead Teacher this school year. Before teaching preschool, I spent many years working with my 3 daughters (ages 14, 12, and 7) in their various school activities, scouts, church groups, etc. Before that, I was a scientist for a large pharmaceutical company. My husband and I are from Chicago originally, but have called West Chester home for the last 12 years. I look forward to getting to know all the Lions and Tigers families this year! (PS. My last name is pronounced "Shop" - crazy, I know!).

Teresa Anderson : Cheetahs & Zebras Lead Teacher

I am entering my fourth year with Lord of Life Christian Preschool.  This will be my third year as the lead teacher.  I was a stay at home mom for many years before I returned to work.  I enjoyed the time I had raising my three children, but I am very excited to be back in the preschool classroom.

Before I was a stat at home mom, I worked in two different preschools. I taught in a Head Start program in the downtown Cincinnati area and then taught at Seven Hills School.  During my time at home, I took a job at my home church and was the Sunday School Director.  I received my Bachelors Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and my Child Development Associate from University of Cincinnati.

I have been married to my husband, Dave for 21 years and we have three children.  My oldest daughter, Rachel, is starting her third year of college; my son, Tyler, will be a freshman in college at Indiana Wesleyan University and my youngest, Braden, will be in the 6th grade at VanGorden.

My family also enjoys camping and boating.  I look forward to working with the Pre-K class and getting them ready for Kindergarten.
