It looks like fall may finally be here, next week’s temps are in the 50s, 60s & 70s. We had fabulous weather for our field trips, I hope it holds up for Pumpkin carving in a week and a half. 

I have lots of family in Florida, and am so thankful they are all safe! 

No School 10/17 & 10/18 – Lakota
Pumpkin Carving with Dad (or other special person) 6:30-7:30, outside weather permitting.

                 Tues 10/22: Bears & Penguins

                  Weds 10/23: Lions & Tigers

                    Thurs 10/24: Cheetahs & Zebras

Bring your own pumpkin & carving tools, Hint: gut the pumpkin before arriving, it saves a lot of time! Hope all can attend!

Picture Proofs went home this week and are due back by Weds 10/23.

Mum Buddies: Thank you so much for all of those who bought/sold Mums! They are beautiful again this year. We made $1,200.00 for LOLCP! Thanks again!

LOLCP Kids only Rummage Sale 4/5/25, This is one of our biggest fundraisers and we are starting to collect now…

Hello LOL families! Anyone have stuffed animals, toys or kids clothes/ items to donate??!
If anyone is feeling the need to tidy up and purge now that kids are back in school… we are already collecting for the LOLCP KIDS ITEMS ONLY SALE all the way up until the event in April. All proceeds go towards the preschool, the upkeep of the classrooms, supplies etc. We will accept baby up to teen items.  Games, toys, shoes, clothes, books etc. You can text or email me using the information below, or just save my info for a future day of decluttering! I can pick up from you if you are in or near West Chester, or you can drop off on my porch anytime (I’m just 2 minutes from LOL)!  Thanks for any donations! And thanks to all the families who have donated in the past 2 years!

Independent Bathroom Skills: All classes but Busy Bees are supposed to be potty trained, but we do have a pull-up policy (see attached). Make sure if your child is wearing a pull-up that they go to the bathroom before class. Please work with your child on pulling up their pants etc. Make sure the children are going to the bathroom before class starts, we have had several kids soak through their pull ups.  Make sure they are pull ups , not diapers.

Halloween Parties are on Weds 10/30 & Thurs 10/31, the last 45 min of class.

              Weds: Lions , Tigers & Weds Busy Bees

              Thurs: Bears, Penguins, Cheetahs and Zebras

* please send in, before the party enough treats for each child, they will Trick or Treat at the end of the party. Parents are welcome back for this.

** If you signed up to help with the party, you should hear from your room mom soon. 

*** Children come to school that day dressed in their costumes (please consider the bathroom) .

One of our parents, Mandi Copenhaver, teaches a workout class and has invited y’all to join. See attached flyer. 

A friend of mine works at Keller Williams and wanted to extend an invite to LOLCP Families to attend their Trunk or Treat. See attached flyer. 

You never know with this crazy weather but it may be time to switch out your child’s extra set of clothes with warmer clothes. We would hate to have to put shorts on them if it’s cold.
