Lord of Life Christian preschool recognizes the importance of the early childhood years. LOLCP offers a caring environment, enhancing a child’s self-esteem within a play-based environment.
We believe positive self-esteem and self-control are the most important aspects to develop in a child and that the social, physical, moral, and behavioral development of young children is crucial if they are to experience success and happiness in their future school years.
Our goal is for every child’s first school experiences to become special, cherished memories and the foundation for a positive outlook on learning.
We believe that a child learns by doing, and encourage each child to do his/her best. We believe that the process of creating is more important the the end product and therefore view each child’s work as a masterpiece.

Consistent with our philosophy, the LOLCP curriculum is centered around play-based learning. Our curriculum, based on The Creative Curriculum, strives to provide a stimulating social setting in which each child will develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
We offer an environment in which active learning takes place through hands-on discovery and is facilitated by the use of developmentally appropriate materials by teachers trained in early childhood education.

Our part-time program offers a caring atmosphere that enhances academic and social skills, while building self-esteem through play-based activities.

Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on discovery and active learning experiences, promoting age-appropriate learning in key academic areas.
We integrate Christian values into daily experiences and offer Chapel time led by the staff of Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

A Message from the LOLCP Director, Paula Drake
Started in 1994, Lord of Life Christian Preschool strives to create an atmosphere for learning where children feel welcome and engaged. From the very first day, our teachers know your child by name and develop a strong relationship with them throughout the school year and after! Through events such as class parties, our students’ Christmas performance and our End of the Year Family Picnic, we invite your entire family to be a part of the fun! We feel confident that you will love the program as much as your child, and we encourage open communication and feedback from our families at all times.
