Meet Our Staff
Our teachers are the heart of LOLCP. Each one brings a joyful spirit, professional expertise, and a deep love for early childhood. We partner with families to celebrate growth, nurture confidence, and make every day a little adventure in learning.
Marla has two years of preschool teaching experience and eight years as a children’s library specialist. She loves being part of children’s very first school experience and watching them blossom as they play, learn, and develop friendships for the first time. Outside the classroom, Marla enjoys traveling, golfing, and participating in fitness classes at her gym. Her connection to LOLCP is extra special — her now-grown son and daughter both attended the preschool!
Teresa has been part of LOLCP since 2012 and loves preparing children for kindergarten. She finds joy in seeing their growth from the first day of school to the last, and treasures their smiles, hugs, stories, and imaginations. Outside of school, Teresa enjoys shopping at thrift stores and finding bargains. Her favorite children’s author is Robert Munsch, because his stories make preschoolers laugh. She also loves playing board games. Teresa has been married to her husband, Dave, for 31 years, and they have three children — Rachel, Tyler, and Braden.
Sarah brings seven years of experience as a Speech/Language Pathologist working at an Early Childhood school in Wisconsin. She enjoys working with preschool-aged children and admires their endless energy, honesty, creativity, flexibility, and resilience. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, reading, singing, and spending time with her family.
Traci has been part of LOLCP since 2013 and treasures the opportunity to nurture children’s creativity, hear their ideas, and witness the connections they make each day. She especially loves seeing the remarkable growth that happens during a school year. When she’s not teaching, Traci enjoys boating with her family, cheering on Ohio State football, and capturing special moments through photography.
Marianne brings a wealth of experience to LOLCP, with 27 years as a special education teacher and 18 years teaching and assisting in preschool classrooms. She believes the preschool years are the most important for a child’s development and finds joy in guiding little ones during this exciting stage of life. Outside of school, Marianne enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going to the gym, and reading. She and her husband love traveling and attending concerts.
Letitia is beginning her sixth year at LOLCP and loves working in a happy, loving environment. She feels privileged to support each student and family, helping to grow a love for learning while fostering confidence, social skills, and a growth mindset. Letitia loves to learn and try new things, which has recently led her to pick up pickleball. She has two children- her oldest is starting college this year! Her family enjoys sports, concerts, traveling, and trying new foods.
Tami has 18 years of experience in early childhood education and loves the curiosity and excitement young children bring to learning. She finds it rewarding to see them grow physically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year. In her free time, Tami enjoys gardening, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three children. She also loves cheering her kids on as they play tennis, golf, and flag football.
Kathy has worked in early childhood education for four years and in K-12 education for eight additional years. She loves building relationships with students and families, making a positive impact during this vital stage of early childhood, and helping children fall in love with school and learning. Outside the classroom, Kathy enjoys music, loves animals, and is a proud mom of three.
