At this age, everything is new — new faces, new routines, new independence. Our 2½-year-old class offers a safe, nurturing space where toddlers build trust, explore their surroundings, and learn through sensory play.
Teachers support early self-help skills, language development, and emotional awareness through songs, stories, and hands-on exploration. The goal is simple: to help each child feel secure, curious, and proud of every new “I can do it!” moment.
Approaches to Learning: Developing curiosity and persistence
Language & Literacy: Listening, repeating, and beginning to use words to connect
Physical: Strengthening coordination through play and movement
Social-Emotional: Building trust, sharing space, expressing feelings
Our programs are designed in alignment with Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards. We utilize the Creative Curriculum for Preschool as the foundation for our lesson plans and programming.
All children registering must be 2 1/2 when they start; can enroll throughout the year if space is available. Independent bathroom skills are not required.
