Marianne Fox : Bears Co-Teacher
Hi! My name is Marianne Fox. My husband and I recently moved to West Chester from Lexington, KY to be closer to family. My brothers and mother live in the Cincinnati area and our son, daughter-in- law and two grandchildren will live in West Chester soon! We are loving our new home. For 27 years, I taught Special Education in Kentucky. Upon retirement, I quickly discovered that my passion was to still work with children. I then worked in a preschool in Lexington and enjoyed going to work every day! I was very fortunate to be able to continue that passion at Lord of Life. I love co- teaching the Bears with Ms. Kate. I have been teaching at LOLCP for 6 years now.
Kate Szczcap : Bears Co-Teacher
I am so excited to be in my 6th year here at LOLCP! Over the past three years I have served in both the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher roles. Before teaching preschool, I spent many years working with my 3 daughters (ages 18, 16, and 11) in their various school activities, scouts, church groups, etc. Before that, I was a scientist for a large pharmaceutical company. My husband and I are from Chicago originally, but have called West Chester home for the last 16 years. I look forward to getting to know all the Bears families this year! (PS. My last name is pronounced "Shop" - crazy, I know!).
Traci Fisher : Penguins Lead Teacher
I am so excited to be returning to the LOLCP family this year! I have been busy planning a fantastic year of learning and fun as Lead Teacher in the Busy Bees classes! My husband, Todd, and I have lived in West Chester for 21 years. I am a proud Mother to Tyler, age 14 and Kelly, age 11. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State, and my entire family rallies as Buckeye fans! My true love has been raising my children! I have embraced every opportunity to serve as Room Mom in their classes, Den Leader in their Cub Scouts, and Parent Volunteer helping with classroom academics. I have worked with preschoolers for the past 9 years, and I absolutely love teaching, helping children explore, and watching their confidence grow the more they succeed! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's growth!
